Canada Security Collective Service Agreement

1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.1 About Canada Security Collective

Canada Security Collective ("we," "us," "our," or "Organizer") is an event organizer that uses TicketSnap technology to manage ticket sales and event operations.

Our ticketing platform is powered by TicketSnap, a software-as-a-service (SAAS) platform.

1.2 Your Agreement

Important: When you purchase tickets or products through this website:

  • You are entering into a contract with Canada Security Collective, the Event Organizer
  • Canada Security Collective is responsible for events, products, policies, and customer service
  • TicketSnap provides the technology platform and payment processing services
  • TicketSnap facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the agreement between you and Canada Security Collective

1.3 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this ticketing platform (whether at {"id":6,"domain":"tickets.canadasecuritycollective.com","tenant_id":10,"is_primary":true,"is_fallback":false,"certificate_status":null,"created_at":"2025-09-03T05:21:45.000000Z","updated_at":"2025-09-03T05:21:45.000000Z"} or related domains), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1.4 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only create an account or make purchases with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Account" means your registered user account on the Platform
  • "Event Organizer" or "Organizer" means the entity hosting events and selling tickets/products through the Platform
  • "Goods" means tickets, merchandise, food, beverages, or other items offered for sale by Event Organizers
  • "Order" means your request to purchase Goods through the Platform
  • "Platform" or "Service" means this ticketing website and related services, powered by TicketSnap technology
  • "Service Fee" means fees charged by Canada Security Collective for use of the Platform
  • "User," "You," or "Your" means you, the person or entity using the Platform

3. Platform Services

3.1 Technology Platform

Canada Security Collective uses TicketSnap technology to provide:

  • Online and in-person ticketing
  • Payment processing services
  • Event management tools
  • Customer account management
  • Ticket issuance and validation

TicketSnap is the technology provider and is not responsible for event content, scheduling, cancellations, or event-related disputes.

3.2 Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including:

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

Creating an account is free. When you create an account, you must:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Not use another person's account without permission
  • Not create an account using a false identity or impersonating another person
  • Not use offensive, vulgar, or obscene usernames

4.3 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Any reason at our sole discretion

You may close your account at any time by discontinuing use of the Platform.

5. Purchasing Tickets and Goods

5.1 Contract with Event Organizer

When you place an Order through the Platform:

  • You are purchasing directly from Canada Security Collective
  • Canada Security Collective is solely responsible for fulfilling your Order
  • You must comply with Canada Security Collective's terms, policies, and event rules
  • TicketSnap (our technology provider) is not liable for event-related issues

5.2 Order Information

When placing an Order, you may be required to provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Billing information
  • Any other information required by the Event Organizer

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have legal authority to use any payment method provided
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe via TicketSnap's payment infrastructure. By making a purchase, you authorize Canada Security Collective and TicketSnap to:

  • Charge your payment method for the ticket price, service fees, and any applicable taxes
  • Store the last four digits of your payment card for reference
  • Share necessary payment information with Stripe

All payment card information is stored and processed by Stripe in accordance with their security standards. Neither Canada Security Collective nor TicketSnap stores complete payment card information.

5.4 Service Fees

TicketSnap charges service fees for platform usage on behalf of Canada Security Collective. Service fees may be:

  • Displayed separately at checkout, or
  • Included in the ticket price

Service fees are non-refundable, even if tickets are refunded by the Event Organizer.

5.5 Pricing and Availability

  • All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until your Order is confirmed
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors
  • Ticket availability is managed by Event Organizers and may change without notice

5.6 Order Acceptance and Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order for reasons including:

  • Unavailability of tickets or products
  • Pricing or description errors
  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Technical issues or system errors

If your Order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund including service fees.

6. Tickets

6.1 Ticket Authenticity

All tickets issued through the Platform are authentic and valid. Tickets are issued by Canada Security Collective using TicketSnap's official ticketing system.

6.2 Ticket Delivery

Tickets are typically delivered via:

  • Email to your registered email address
  • Your Canada Security Collective account dashboard
  • Other methods specified by the Event Organizer

6.3 Ticket Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining access to your tickets
  • Protecting tickets from theft or unauthorized use
  • Following the Event Organizer's ticket policies and entry requirements

We are not liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or inaccessible tickets. It is your responsibility to save and secure your tickets.

6.4 Ticket Transfers

Ticket transfer policies are set by Event Organizers. Some tickets may be non-transferable. Contact the Event Organizer for their specific transfer policy.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

7.1 Refund and Cancellation Policies

Refunds and cancellations are governed by Canada Security Collective's policies.

Canada Security Collective sets all policies regarding:

  • Refunds and exchanges
  • Event cancellations or postponements
  • No-show policies
  • Weather-related cancellations

7.2 Requesting Refunds

To request a refund or cancellation:

  1. Review Canada Security Collective's refund policy (available on event pages or by contacting us)
  2. Contact contact@canadasecuritycollective.com with your request
  3. Canada Security Collective will determine your eligibility for a refund

7.3 Refund Processing

If Canada Security Collective approves a refund:

  • TicketSnap will process the refund through our payment system
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
  • Service fees are non-refundable unless required by law

7.4 Platform-Initiated Refunds

TicketSnap or Canada Security Collective may issue refunds (including service fees) if:

  • We cancel your Order due to technical errors
  • We determine there was unauthorized or fraudulent activity
  • We are legally required to do so
  • Canada Security Collective requests a full refund including fees

8. In-Person Purchases

8.1 Point-of-Sale Transactions

Canada Security Collective uses this Platform for in-person sales of tickets and physical goods (food, beverages, merchandise, etc.) at our venues.

8.2 In-Person Terms

For in-person purchases:

  • These Terms apply to in-person transactions
  • All goods are sold by Canada Security Collective, not TicketSnap
  • Sales are final unless Canada Security Collective's policy states otherwise
  • Age verification may be required for age-restricted items
  • Canada Security Collective is responsible for product quality, safety, and compliance with laws

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Platform Ownership

TicketSnap (our technology provider) owns all rights, title, and interest in the Platform technology, including:

  • Software, code, and technology
  • Canada Security Collective branding, logos, and trademarks
  • Platform design and functionality

9.2 Event Content

Canada Security Collective retains ownership of all content including event descriptions, images, logos, and branding. TicketSnap has a license to display this content solely for providing Platform services.

9.3 User License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9.4 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Platform
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Platform
  • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

10. Privacy and Data

10.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

10.2 Data Collection

We collect information including:

  • Account information (name, email, phone)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we store last 4 digits only)
  • Usage data through cookies and analytics
  • Information you provide when making purchases

10.3 Data Sharing

We may share your information with:

  • TicketSnap (our technology and payment processing provider)
  • Stripe (for payment processing)
  • Service providers (Google Analytics, Seats.io)
  • Law enforcement (when legally required)

Canada Security Collective and TicketSnap both handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10.4 Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Account authentication and login
  • Session management
  • Analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Payment processing (Stripe)

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

11.1 Platform "AS IS"

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy or reliability of information
  • Security or freedom from viruses or harmful components

11.2 Event Responsibility

Canada Security Collective is responsible for:

  • Event quality, safety, and production
  • Event policies and rules
  • Product quality for in-person sales
  • Accurate event information

TicketSnap (technology provider) is not responsible for:

  • Event cancellations or changes
  • Event Organizer policies or actions
  • Disputes related to event content or quality

11.3 Technical Issues

We are not liable for:

  • System outages, downtime, or technical failures
  • Lost or corrupted data
  • Payment processing errors (beyond our control)
  • Third-party service failures
  • Cybersecurity incidents (though we implement reasonable security measures)

11.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Canada Security Collective's and TicketSnap's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform is limited to:

  • The amount you paid for your order in the 12 months before the claim

Neither Canada Security Collective nor TicketSnap is liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Costs of substitute services
  • Personal injury or property damage (except as required by law)

This limitation applies even if:

  • We were advised of the possibility of such damages
  • A remedy fails of its essential purpose

11.5 Jurisdictional Variations

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Canada Security Collective, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights
  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your disputes with Event Organizers
  • Content you submit to the Platform

13. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes
  • Purchase tickets with intent to resell (ticket scalping)
  • Use stolen payment methods or commit fraud
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Interfere with Platform operations or security
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these prohibitions may result in account termination and legal action.

14. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by Canada Security Collective. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for:

  • Third-party content or privacy practices
  • Accuracy or availability of external websites
  • Products or services offered by third parties

We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the Platform operates.

15.2 Jurisdiction

Disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

15.3 Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal action, you agree to:

  1. Contact us at contact@canadasecuritycollective.com to attempt informal resolution
  2. Provide a detailed description of the dispute
  3. Allow 30 days for us to respond and attempt resolution

15.4 Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to bring or participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Event Organizer policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Canada Security Collective regarding use of the Platform.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

16.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or internet/telecommunications failures.

16.6 Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination of these Terms.

16.7 Headings

Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of these Terms.

17. Changes to Terms

17.1 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will:

  • Provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect
  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
  • Notify you via email or prominent Platform notice (at our discretion)

17.2 Continued Use

By continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Platform.

17.3 Materiality

What constitutes a "material" change will be determined at our sole discretion.
